ARKADY DVORKOVICH
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation
Born in 1972.
In 1994 he graduated from the Economics Faculty at Lomonosov Moscow State University, majoring in economic cybernetics.
In 1994 he graduated from the New Economic School with a Master of Economics diploma.
In 1997 he graduated from Duke University in state of North Carolina (USA) with a Master of Economics diploma.
From 1994 he was a consultant, a senior expert, chief executive and research director with the Economic Expert Group of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.
From 2000 he was an expert at the Centre for Strategic Research.
In August 2000 he became an adviser to the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation.
In 2001 he became Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation.
From 2004 to 2008 –head of the Russian Presidential Experts Directorate.
From 2008 to May 2012 – Aide to the President of the Russian Federation.
On 21 May 2012 he was appointed Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation by decree of the President of the Russian Federation.
