OLEG SIENKO General Director
Uralvagonzavod Born in 1966.
His professional higher education was as follows: he graduated in Economics from the Interregional Institute in Management Studies; he then went on to study Economics and Business Management at the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas.
He practised professional cycling from his school days, becoming an International Master of Sport. With the achievement of such good cycling results, Oleg Sienko was elected President of the Russian Cycling Federation in 2008.
His work career began in 1988 in Irkutsk as an instructor with the Association of Youth Initiative Irkutsk for the Irkutsk City Committee of the Komsomol (VLKSM). From 1988 to April 2009, he held senior positions in the largest oil and gas companies, including heading the main export subdivision of the OAO Gazprom – Gazpromexport. In April 2009, he was appointed to the post of Chief Executive Officer of the Scientific Production Corporation UralVagonZavod. He was awarded the medal Order of Merit ‘For services to the Fatherland’ 2nd degree.
