Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Moscow Canal" is one of the largest water transport and water economic complex in Russia.
FSUE "Moscow Canal" carries out public authority functions by internal waterways of the Central region of the Russian Federation.
Enterprise’s main functions are:
- Appropriate maintenance of the internal waterways and navigable hydro technical constructions;
- Navigation safety;
- Moscow water-supply;
- Watering the Moscow River and its inflows;
- Electricity generation;
- Water recreation development.
