I am happy to welcome the organizers and participants of 12th International Forum and Exhibition “Transport of Russia” on behalf of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and on my own behalf.

Forum and Exhibition have proved themselves as major industrial events annually joining together officials, representatives of financial, scientific and public organizations, domestic and foreign specialists with a view to discuss the key aspects of transport development.

Multiple and professional exchange of opinions enables transport industry performance consolidation as well as determination of steps into further improvement, formulation of proposals for legislative solution of topical industrial issues, making well-considered decisions with respect to major projects aimed at transport infrastructure development and competitive transport services market development.

I am sure that 12th International Forum and Exhibition “Transport of Russia” will help to find new reserves for implementation of the Transport strategy in the Russian Federation, specify the perspectives for economic growth of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, and Russian transport integration with the international transport system.
