The organizers presented the ideology of the Transport Week-2018
One month remains before the opening of the 12th Transport of Russia International Forum and Exhibition. This year, the event’s ideology is built around the objectives formulated by the Russian President in his Address to the Federal Assembly and Order No. 204 of May.
In particular, the agenda of the discussions is focused on the national projects – the Integrated Plan for Modernization and Expansion of Long-Distance Infrastructure and Safe and Quality Roads, as well as digital transport (Digital Transport and Logistics federal project as part of Digital Economy national project). The topics and participants of the key business formats will be later announced in more detail.
The Integrated Plan will be reviewed in detail at the traditional business breakfast of the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation. According to the organizers, this format is best suitable for discussing investment issues with the participation of managers of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Finance, VEB, Federal Antimonopoly Service and others.
The next important topic is Safe and Quality Roads. It will be first reviewed at the large industry event – Road Traffic Russia, also conducted first time as part of the Transport Week. The regional aspect of the Safe and Quality Roads is to be discussed at the meeting with administrations of the subjects of the Russian Federation (to be reported later).
The main Plenary Session will be devoted to the issue of digital transport and, in particular, creation of the unified transportation complex digital platform. Participants will discuss digital services that will determine the transport market profile in the near future, as well as technologies that will help to build up the country’s logistic and transit potential.
