Northern Capital Gateway (NCG) will take part in the Transport Week 2018 with ‘Sponsor’ status
Pulkovo St. Petersburg Airport ranks fourth in Russia in terms of passenger traffic. The route network includes around 160 Russian and international flight destinations.
The capacity of Pulkovo Airport is 22 million passengers per year. The airport has two parallel runways, including RWY 10L/28R equipped for category III A ICAO precision approach. Take-off and landing operations can be carried out regardless of weather conditions.
Since 2010, Northern Capital Gateway has managed airport implementing the airport reconstruction and development project. It is the first Public-Private Partnership project in the Russian airport industry and is conducted fully without the use of state budgetary funds. In 2010-2015 (Phase 1), NCG invested in the development of Pulkovo Airport a total of € 1.2 billion. The following facilities were built and put into operation: the new main terminal building, passenger and cargo aprons, the airport hotel and business center, parking facilities, as well as numerous airside infrastructure buildings. Currently, the NCG has been updating the master plan for the further stages of Pulkovo Airport’s development project. It will be presented in the first quarter of 2019.
