Welcome Letters

On behalf of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and on my own behalf, I welcome the participants and guests of Transport Week 2017.

Over the last years, these events have become really anticipated and much-needed. The forum is attended by everyone involved in the transport market, as well as representatives of public authorities and of expert, research and business communities. It is planned to address the condition of Russian transport system and the prospects for its development.

The exhibition “Transport of Russia” demonstrates the industry outcomes for the year, presenting the most advanced engineering achievements, regional infrastructure projects, high-end technologies and services in the field of freight and passenger transportation.

I believe the forum and exhibition will help outline a new approach to the issues and achievements of Russian transport complex, make the interaction between authorities and professional community more efficient and enhance inter-industry and inter-regional collaboration.
