96 exhibitors took part in the 12th Transport of Russia International Exhibition

International Exhibition “Transport of Russia” is a large-scale event of the industry that annually brings together dozens of leading industry representatives. This year, 96 exhibitors took part in the exhibition. Among the exhibitors were federal agencies, state corporations, Russian and foreign private companies, educational institutions active in the transport sector. Russian regions also presented their transport infrastructure projects.

The stand of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation gave the visitors an opportunity to learn about the progress of implementation of national projects, including the Integrated Plan for Modernization and Expansion of Backbone Infrastructure.

The stand of GLONASS demonstrated the services applied and the abilities of the company. For example, visitors to the exhibition could learn in details about the Road Assistance service (implemented jointly with the Russian Automobile Fellowship) that enables drivers to get assistance in emergency situations by clicking a single button. The unified start-to-finish system for road and railway transport monitoring enables companies to track temperature conditions, pressure, humidity, leakproofness (for cargo carried in bunkers), as well as the load level in different points of the container or car, along the entire traveling path of the products.

A number of airport construction and reconstruction projects were presented at the exhibition. Airports of Regions Management Company told the participants about the construction of international airport in Saratov, Yelizovo Airport in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Novy Urengoy Airport. Sheremetyevo International Airport also presented its stand.

Several exhibitors presented projects in the field of water transport: Morsvyazsputnik, Moscow Canal, Directorate of the Moscow Transport Hub, Marine Engineering Bureau - design - SPb, Management Port Company (Eastern Port).

Directorate for Development of the Transport System of Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Region presented the project tramline construction from Ulitsa Dybenko metro station in Saint Petersburg to the town of Kudrovo in the Leningrad Region. The project involves the construction of tram viaduct at the intersection with the railway tracks of October Railway.

The stand of the Avtodor gave information about further operation of the M-4 Don highway from Moscow to Novorossiysk through Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don and Krasnodar.

As part of its display, JSC Russian Railways presented a new open carriage with USB ports and curtains, as well as interactive models of “Kaliningrad TLC”, “Selikhin-Nysh railway line a passage across the Nevelsky Strait” and “High-speed mainlines in Russia”.

TransContainer presented iSales, a unique online service which enables ordering a container shipment virtually throughout the Eurasian continent in a few clicks.

Rosavtotrans shared information on development of road haulage along the new transport corridor from Russia to China.

Federal Agency for Transport Supervision presented the results of its work at year-end. Visitors to the stand could also view a video telling about the efforts aimed at enhancement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the means of control and supervision, implementation of a risk-oriented approach in order to ensure safety in the transport complex in context of lowering the load on the law abiding business.

Center of Technical Developments presented the project of intellectual pedestrian crossing (IPC) and Universal Highly Resistant Material DARA for road marking and use in road construction.
