Organizers summed up the results of the 12th Transport of Russia International Forum and Exhibition
The 12th Transport of Russia International Forum and Exhibition held from November 20 to 22 in Gostiny Dvor finished in Moscow. The Transport of Russia is rightfully considered the main industry event of the year that annually brings together heads of federal and regional ministries, transport authorities, members of the Government of the Russian Federation, representatives of the largest Russian and foreign companies involved in operating in the transport industry and related sectors, scientists and representatives of the banking sector at the single platform. The 12th Transport of Russia International Forum and Exhibition was record-breaking by every measure. This year, the forum hosted 41 business formats which included presentations of more than 300 speakers. In total, 3,700 people took part in business formats. In the Transport of Russia 96 exhibitors participated whose stands were viewed by 10,000 visitors. Participants and exhibitors included representatives of 27 countries. 27 agreements were signed in the framework of the Transport of Russia. 776 journalists from 221 mass media covered the work of the forum and exhibition Transport of Russia.
This year, the forum ideology was based on the goals determined by the Russian President in his Order No. 204 of May and Address to the Federal Assembly. The agenda of the discussions was focused on the national projects, including the Integrated Plan for Modernization and Expansion of Long-Distance Infrastructure and Safe and Quality Roads, as well as Digital Transport and Logistics federal project as part of Digital Economy national project.
The Opening Ceremony with the welcome address given by Yevgeny Dietrich, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, provided a starting point for the forum, and plenary session entitled “Transport of Russia. Uniform Digital Platform”. The remaining business formats were divided into 5 major blocks: “Transportation lines. Russia close inside and open to the world”, “Road system. Modern and reliable”, “Digital transport. One click services”, “Modes of transport. Focus” and “Transport in regions. Assessment criteria”. The conferences were devoted to planning and functioning of motor, air, railway, maritime and river transport.
The platform featured 96 exhibition stands. Among the exhibitors were federal agencies, state corporations, Russian and foreign private companies, educational institutions active in the transport sector. Russian regions also presented their transport infrastructure projects.
