The award ceremony for the winners of the Formula of Motion National Award was held
The award ceremony for the winners of the Formula of Motion National Award for achievements in the sphere of transport and transport infrastructure was held at the summary plenary discussion of the 12th Transport of Russia International Forum and Exhibition on November 22, 2018.
Commemorative awards were presented by Chairman of the panel of judges Mikhail Yakovlevich Blinkin, Director of Institute for Transport Economics and Transport Policy Studies of Higher School of Economics National Research Institute, Member of Expert Council of the Government of the Russian Federation. The award ceremony was held in the presence of Deputy Ministers of Transport of the Russian Federation.
The winners are:
Nomination: The Best Infrastructure Project
- Administration of Civil Airports (Airfields) – Construction of Platov Airport Complex (Rostov-on-Don);
- Sheremetyevo Airport – the 1st stage of development of the Northern Terminal Complex (Terminal B) and automated system of Sheremetyevo Airport interterminal transfer.
Nomination: The Best Solution in the field of Passenger Transport
- Mosgortrans – Electric bus for Moscow.
Nomination: The Best Solution In Freight Logistics
- Rosmorport – Construction of sea port facilities in the area of Sabetta village in the Yamal Peninsula.
Nomination: The Best Innovative Solution In Transport Equipment
- Avtodor – Interoperability on toll highways.
Nomination: The Best Solution In Transport Digitalization
- GLONASS – Road Assistance service.
Nomination: The Best PR-Activity In The Current Year
- Mosgortrans – Official account of Mosgortrans on Twitter – “normal-person” talks on transport.
- Northern Capital Highway – Western High-Speed Diameter (WHSD) Festival. Light on Western High-Speed Diameter.
Special prize “For Special Contribution to the Development of the National Sovereignty of the Russian Federation” was given to Federal Highway Administration “Taman” together with STROYGAZMONTAZH for the “Highway Portion of the Crimean Bridge” project.
It should be reminded that the Formula of Motion National Award was established in 2014 by the Public Council of Russian Ministry of Transport and held for the 5th time this year.
Organizers of the award congratulate the winners, the best of the best who presented the most advanced and innovative projects!
Organizers of the Formula of Motion National Award also thank all participants of the competition! Such a great pool of very worthy projects which participated in the award indicates a high level of development of the transport industry and high professionalism of experts. It can be confidently stated that we are moving in the right direction in the field of transport digitalization, enhancement of industry quality standards, implementation of innovations and improvement of the transport industry in general.
