The IV International Exhibition “Transport of Russia” was held from 18 to 20 November 2010 in the Manezh Central Exhibition Hall in Moscow. The event was organized by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and the operator was Business Dialogue.

The IV International Exhibition “Transport in Russia” clearly demonstrated the progress in implementing the most significant projects in the area of railway, road, air, sea and river transport. The Amur Road, the Arctic tanker Kirill Lavrov, the southern air terminal complex at Sheremetyevo airport, the Olympics transport facilities in Sochi, the high-speed rail service on the Moscow – Nizhny Novgorod route, the modernization of the Primorsky Region transport infrastructure in preparation for the APEC Summit, and the preparation of transport facilities for Universiade 2013 – this far from a full list of the projects that were presented. In the demo zone visitors to the exhibition were able to familiarize themselves with working transport equipment for carrying passengers, including people with disabilities. The participants and guests were particularly interested in the new generation high-speed tram developed by LOHR Industrie and being presented for the first time in Russia.
Igor Levitin, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, and Siim Kallas, Vice President of the European Commission, took part in the exhibition’s official closing ceremony. Igor Levitin noted in his speech that the main objective of the exhibition is not only to deliver an annual report by the industry but also to define the vector of future development of Russia’s transport system.
Elvira Nabiullina, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, and Sergei Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow, familiarized themselves with the displays during the exhibition.
