Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation is a federal executive authority in the field of transport, carrying out functions on elaborating state policy and legal regulation in civil aviation, airspace management and air navigation services to users of the airspace of the Russian Federation, aerospace search and rescue, maritime (including sea ports, excluding fishing ports and farms), inland waterway, rail, road, city electrical (including underground) and industrial transport and road facilities.
