OOO Neftetransportnaya Kompaniya (Oil-Transporting Company) OOO Neftetransportnaya Kompaniya (NTK) was established in the town of Uyar, Krasnoyarsk Krai, in 2005. OOO NTK has been providing services of oil transfer from the major pipelines system of the Oil Transporting Joint Stock Company Transneft to the railway tanks at the railway station of the town of Uyar since April, 2006. Uyar pipeline terminal laid up in 1982 was reborn after its reconstruction in 2005. It helped to redirect oil transportation flows to provide oil refineries of the Far East with raw materials. Export of the Russian oil to the East became important in connection with the respective agreements between Russia and China on supplies of the “black gold”. Moreover, transshipment in Uyar made it possible to increase load of the Baikal-Amur Mainline. Crude oil loading terminal in Uyar today means hope for better future for hundreds of people.
