FSUE Rosmorport joins Transport Week 2013 as an Official Partner

Federal State Unity Enterprise Rosmorport General Director Andrei Tarasenko delivered a welcoming speech to the organisers, participants and guests of Transport Week:

“Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of FSUE Rosmorport, I would like to welcome you to the VII International Forum and Exhibition “Transport of Russia” 2013.

The current evolution and modernisation of the transport infrastructure is a key factor for the dynamic development and economic security of the country. As one of the key events in the transport industry, the “Transport of Russia” International Forum brings representatives of industry, business and government together to work towards updating the transport infrastructure.

The business programme of the Forum gives participants the opportunity to demonstrate their latest achievements in the transport sector and take part in round table discussions, relevant business meetings and presentations.

I am sure that the Forum will lead to the strengthening of business ties, the growth of multilateral investment activity and, as a result, the development and modernisation of the transport industry.

I hope the Forum proves productive for everybody involved!”

FSUE Rosmorport is the largest owner of coastal and port infrastructure facilities in Russia. It also possesses the country’s biggest service and support fleet, and is active on 54 of the Russian Federation’s 63 sea ports. FSUE Rosmorport employs more than 6000 people in 16 constituent entities. The company is included in the List of Strategic Enterprises and Joint-Stock Companies and is a core organisation in the Russian sea port industry. FSUE Rosmorport's icebreaker fleet is the biggest in the world, consisting of 29 icebreakers of varying capacities. The company provides a set of necessary organizational and technical measures aimed at realising the Transport Strategy of the Russian Federation for the Period until 2030 and the Strategy for Russian Sea Port Infrastructure Development.

One of the key events in the transport industry, Transport Week will take place on 2–7 December 2013 in Moscow. Alongside annual Transport Week events such as the International Forum and Exhibition “Transport of Russia”, the International Congress “ROAD TRAFFIC RUSSIA”, the Russian Spartakiad Games for Transport University Students, the TranspArt 2013 Russian Art Festival, the Youth Forum, there will be a series of conferences dedicated to the development of the transport industry.
