News of Participants in Transport Week 2014

JSC Federal Freight confirms its participation in Transport Week 2014 as a "With the Support of" partner.

Joint Stock Company Federal Freight was established on 26 August 2010. It is a subsidiary of Russian Railways and one of Russia's biggest freight railway operators.

JSC Federal Freight's core activity is provision of its own rolling stock for freight transport and rendering of transport, forwarding and other services. The company operates a rolling stock of 160,000 wagons.

JSC Federal Freight carried 74 m tonnes of freight from January to June 2014, an increase of 15.8% over the same period in 2013. Freight turnover totalled 159.9 bn tonne-kilometers in the first half of 2014, representing an increase of 32.3 bn tonne-kilometres year-on-year.

JSC Federal Freight operates 14 branches across Russia and the company has representative offices in Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

Transport Week 2014 will take place at the Gostiny Dvor Exhibition Center, Moscow, from 1 to 6 December 2014. Transport Week 2014 will feature the VIII International Exhibition "Transport of Russia", a Business Breakfast with the Minister of Transport, the II Transport Education Forum, the "Young Scientists of the Transport Industry" Forum, the International Congress "ROAD TRAFFIC Russia 2014. Traffic Management in the Russian Federation", the VI Russian Spartakiad Games of Transport University Students and the "TranspART 2014" All-Russian Art Festival of Transport University Students.
