VI Russian Spartakiad Games of Transport University Students 

The V Spartakiad Games of Transport University Students are held to create conditions for the physical and spiritual development of students and youth as well as to preserve and advance the Spartakiad movement.

Spartakiad goals

  • to engage Russian transport university students in regular physical exercise and sport and create a healthy lifestyle
  • to share experience in physical training and sport
  • to preserve sport traditions

The Russian Ministry of Transport is in charge of managing the Spartakiad Games.

The Organizing Committee for Preparing and Holding the Spartakiad Games and the different sports judges are directly responsible for conducting the Spartakiad Games.

The system for holding the competitions is determined by the Main Panel of Judges for each sport.

The Spartakiad Games program includes the following sports:

  • chess
  • swimming
  • volleyball
  • table tennis
  • indoor football
  • basketball

Young men and women who are full-time students of higher transport educational institutions and have submitted a preliminary application are permitted to participate in the Spartakiad Games.

Russian Art Festival by Transport University Students TranspART 2014

Launched on the 200th anniversary of the establishment of the first transport department and the start of transport education, the "TranspART" festival has become a key event for Russian transport university students. It has been held in every region and turned into a proper student movement.

The Russian Art Festival by Transport University Students "TranspART" is held at the initiative and with the support of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.

Festival goals

The main purposes of the festival are to promote the transport profession and the industry as a whole as well as to provide ideological orientation and career guidance to the young generation.

The festival aims to support the development of creative transport children's and youth groups in Russia.

One of the main goals of the festival is to provide young people with the opportunity to interact on a creative level, share experiences, identify new talents and learn about the best examples of national culture and art.

  • photography
  • literary creativity
