On behalf of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and on my own behalf, I welcome the participants and guests of the 13^th International Forum and Exhibition “Transport of Russia”.

As the Forum and the Exhibition became the main business event for the transport industry, they provide an opportunity for discussion of the relevant issues related to the development of the transport infrastructure, promotion of investments, improvement of the quality, accessibility and safety of transportation, the results of the first implementation year of the Integrated Modernization Plan and Expansion of the Trunk Infrastructure for the period until 2024 in terms of transport infrastructure as well as the National Project “Safe and Quality Automobile Roads”.

I believe that new constructive proposals for further improvement of the Russian transport complex will be developed during the discussion.

On this occasion, I congratulate you on the 210^th anniversary of the founding of a single transport agency and the first industry transport educational institution.

I wish you productive work and implementation of plans.
