The concept of the XIII International Forum and Exhibition Transport of Russia has been announced
The XIII International Forum and Exhibition Transport of Russia will be held on November 19–21, 2019 in Gostiny Dvor. Forum and Exhibition activities are conducted in accordance with Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1903-r of September 10, 2016 by the Ministry of Transport of Russian Federation with the organizational support of Business Dialogue Company for an open discussion of the most pressing transport issues and enhancing mutual understanding between representatives of the government and the business community.
The main theme of the Forum and Exhibition covers national projects in the sphere of transport. These include “Comprehensive Plan of Modernization and Expansion of Main Infrastructure for the Period up to 2024” and “Safe and Quality Roads”. The participants will discuss the results of the first year of the projects implementation, i.e. what has been done, what has not yet been done and why.
The Forum and Exhibition will be held for three days, each day will have a title to reflect the overall format: #Infrastructure, #Cooperation, #Technology.
The first day dedicated to #Infrastructure will begin with a business breakfast of the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation with the participation of the heads of the Russian Federation subjects. The theme of the business breakfast is the main infrastructure and attracting investment to the regions. Its participants will discuss the progress of the Comprehensive Plan projects, the role of institutions in the system of national projects, the attraction of private capital to the transport sector.
For the second day of the Forum, November 20, a large number of international events is scheduled, including the country’s leadership meeting with the heads of international organizations, meeting of Transport Ministers of the EAEC, Coordination Transport Meeting of the CIS member states. Theme of the day is Cooperation. Panel discussion “Transport in the Context of Eurasian Integration. Basis for a Sustainable Development” suggests the coverage of international projects in the field of transport, industrial priorities of EAEC countries transport activities, improvement and harmonization of the transport legislation, as well as optimization of transportation processes. The main panel discussion will be attended by the heads of transport departments of EAEC countries.
The third day of the Forum will continue with working industry conferences on the use of modern technologies in various sectors of the transport sphere. This day will be dedicated to the final panel discussion organized to present the results of the Forum and the winners of the Formula of Motion National Award.
The Forum and Exhibition Transport of Russia are the key events of Transport Week which will take place for the 13th time in 2019 and will be the culminating event of the celebration of the 210th anniversary of transport department and transport education in Russia.
