Over 100 companies are presenting their projects at the Exhibition “Transport of Russia”

13th International Exhibition “Transport of Russia” is being held at Gostiny Dvor, November 19–21, during Transport Week 2019. The exhibition covers an area of 3,700 square meters where more than 100 participants are demonstrating their achievements and developments. Guests of the Exhibition can learn about latest projects in the area of railway, automobile, aviation, maritime and river transport.

The combined booth of EAEU member states is being presented at the exhibition for the first time. The emphasis is being made on transport and infrastructure projects which are a link between the economies of EAEU member states and are interesting to cargo shippers and transport business of adjoining states. In particular, the transport and logistics infrastructure of the EAEU including the Russian control network of the Transport Logistic Center with extension to EAEU member states and largest sites of the terminal and warehouse infrastructure of Belarus and Kazakhstan, checkpoints and custom clearance points for cargo in EAEU member states, Europe – Western China International Transit Corridor, the Northeast Passage are being presented at the booth.

Individual Russian regions including Novosibirk, Kaluga, Astrakhan, Rostov and Samara Regions, Perm Krai, the Udmurt Republic, the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Republic of Tatarstan are demonstrating their achievements in the transport industry. For instance, the booth of Novosibirsk Region is providing information about the reconstruction of the Tolmachevo Airport, the booth of Kaluga Region – about the project of a complete ring road around the regional center, Kaluga, and the Ministry of Transport of Perm Krai is presenting a new transport model for servicing municipal routes of Perm.

As always, FSUE “Rosmorport” is participating in the event. The booth of the enterprise contains a virtual 3D room where you can see the vessels of icebreaking and dredging fleet in real time (including the “Yury Maslykov” vessel and the most powerful diesel-electric icebreaker in the world “Viktor Chernomyrdin”), projects of modernization and expansion of the infrastructure in ports with display of information about each one of them.

At the JSC Russian Railways booth, guests can learn about the largest projects of the company in the area of infrastructure development, passenger transportation, digital technologies, etc. This year the state corporation is demonstrating the layout of their new couchette car. Passenger seats in such cars are equipped with personal tables and side berths – with cabinets for personal belongings. At the same time, there are still 54 passenger seats provided in a car.

The Federal Air Transport Agency booth contains the Project for Reconstruction of the Technology Building and Technology Re-equipment of the Novosibirsk Extended Center – a strategically important site of aviation transport supply of Russia. Commissioning of this center will allow for an increase in the safety of flights, throughput and efficiency of use of air space and for a decrease in operation costs of airlines.

The Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport booth is dedicated to several projects at the same time. For instance, guests can learn about the innovative system of fleet control which will help to automatize the information exchange between participants of a transportation process (the vessel, vessel movement control system, vessel owner’s company office, etc).

The JSC GLONASS booth contains information about the key directions of the company’s activities including technical support for car owners who got into a road accident; communication services for the transport complex; car park and cargo transportation monitoring services in both international and domestics Russian transport corridors, etc. Moreover, JSC GLONASS works with foreign countries on implementing projects of launching emergency response systems for motorways accidents similar to GAIS “ERA-GLONASS”.

This year the Forum and Exhibition “Transport of Russia” is dedicated to 210th anniversary of the transport agency and transport education in Russia. The booth of the Federal Agency for Rail Transport, where the key landmarks in the history of railway transport in the 19th and 21st centuries are described, is dedicated to this memorable date.
