Zimniy teatr (Winter theater)

The building of Zimniy theatre in Sochi was built in 1937 by architect K.N.Chernopyatov in consultation with architects V.A.Shuko and Golfreih. There are 900 seats in audience hall of Zimniy theatre. Building’s architecture is surrounded by 88 columns. Main terrace of the central porch is an open crush-room of the theatre, which is connected with galleries by the created piazzas. A huge toreutic luster is decorated with bright luminous crystals. A master of crystal production from Moscow region was the first in the Soviet Union who decorated a big luster of Sochi theatre with native crystals. Big hall is decorated with 20 big columns with Corinthian capitals, encased in artificial marble.

Marines Park Hotel

«Marines Park Hotel» is a modern Sochi hotel at the very coast of the Black sea in the park zone near the Seaport, the Aqua Park, the "Festival" Concert Hall and the “Winter Theatre”. The Seaport

The building was erected in 1955. The Authors of the project were architects K.S. Alabyan and L.B. Karlik. The building has two basic floors. In the centre the building is topped by a tower with a stainless steel spire. There are sculptural figures placed above the three storey-circles of the tower and their author is well known sculptor Ingal. The figures personify four seasons and four parts of the world. The seaport has 2 passenger terminals with the total length of 330 m and capable to moor vessels up to 220 m and with draught up to 8,5 m. The port has a dry-cargo and auto ferry moorings for motor transport and for receipt of goods and cargo operations. The dry-cargo mooring is capable to moor vessels up to 135 m and with draught up to 6 m and is equipped with two portal cranes with crane capacity of 10 tons each. There is also an artificial bay for the pleasure yachts in the port.
